No, that's the wrong method. Rather, most breakthroughs happen at the opposite in several small steps.
Small steps that we repeat, day after day, and that gradually build our courage until we no longer think about whether we are brave or not.
You build on your Momentum, which increases your will and desire to continue.
Small steps create big gains.
See failure as an incredible lesson.
Great entrepreneurs have not become successful by avoiding mistakes – they have learned from every setback and none of them have done everything perfectly from the start.
New Mindset
How you look at failure and how you look at yourself when things don't go as you had planned, is crucial to your future victories.
Think of the opportunity you have, who gets to try new things - learn - make mistakes - and learn even more.
Be proud that you are a person who dares to try and fail.
Make your goals concrete and actionable.
Dare to do the uncomfortable requires that you have a clear vision of where you are going.
Work backwards from the goal to where you are right now.
Don't set vague or vague goals - make them specific, measurable and break them down into smaller steps. You are doing yourself an incredible favor by doing this.
If you have a concrete action list or points to check off, the challenge will also be less.
You don't have to think about WHAT and instead focus on HOW.
The right people provide the right energy.
Motivation and action are contagious.
Surrounding yourself with the right people is a big part of the equation.
Let yourself be infected by the energy of other people, who have already done what you want to do, and be inspired by how they have gone about it, how they have motivated themselves from the beginning and how they have constantly kicked off their Momentum.
Visualize the success and focus on it.
Instead of focusing on what's scary, hard or uncomfortable, focus on your success.
Athletes use visualization continuously.
They see themselves reaching the finish line or jumping the highest and they create these "movies in their head" as clearly as possible.
With sounds, colors, emotions, etc.
What would happen if you did that too?
What does your success look like? How does it feel in the body? What does the environment around you look like?
Success eventually becomes so real you can almost touch it.
This means that the small steps there, which are uncomfortable, only have one way and that is forward.
So what can you do starting today?
Take responsibility for your own courage: Dare to identify your fears and actively counter them.
Set up a daily habit of doing something that challenges you and forces you to leave your comfort zone.
Let the challenges become part of your business.
Build a routine for courageous actions: Create a structure in your everyday life where you consciously plan inconvenient, but necessary tasks. Making it a habit reduces the fear of the unknown.
Practice as much as you can: Practice putting up with uncomfortable situations, such as giving a speech, talking on video, or writing a sales pitch. By doing, you build experiences. And experience gives you skills, which makes you more and more confident in the situation.
Set deadlines: Having a clear time frame will help you act faster and avoid putting off inconvenient things. Feel free to set a deadline that is a little too tight, as we often tend to prioritize it higher.
Track your progress
Create a "courage book": Collect your successes and lessons learned in a notebook. Write down all the challenges you have completed and what you have done. Unfortunately, we easily forget what we have achieved and being able to go back in the book is a really great way for us to keep our motivation at its peak.
You are capable of so much more than you might think.
